A new partnership supporting Melbourne Theatre Company Forum Nights
Developer Time & Place has announced a new partnership with the Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC), marking the beginning of a two-year collaboration that celebrates creativity, community, and culture in the heart of Melbourne.
Starting in October 2025, Time & Place will support MTC’s popular Forum Nights, a series of post-show conversations with the cast and creative teams. The initiative offers audiences a rare chance to go behind the curtain, hear production insights, and connect more deeply with the stories brought to life on stage.
The partnership is more than a sponsorship; it’s a meeting of shared values between two organisations that understand the power of storytelling and connection. “Time & Place is exactly the kind of partner that we seek out and value. Their belief in connection and community aligns deeply with our own,” said Sally Noonan, Co-CEO and Executive Director of Melbourne Theatre Company. “Forum Nights invite audiences to engage, reflect and be part of the conversation. This partnership is a great meeting of values, including a shared commitment to the cultural life of this city.”
Nick Paciocco, CEO of Time & Place, echoed this sentiment: “We believe great developments go beyond buildings; they create opportunities for people to connect. Partnering with Melbourne Theatre Company allows us to celebrate the cultural heart of Melbourne while continuing to support the communities where we build.”
This collaboration also strengthens Time & Place’s connection with South Melbourne, where its latest project, Park Modern, is taking shape near the Melbourne Arts Precinct. Surrounded by Anzac Station, the Botanical Gardens, and a vibrant network of theatres and galleries, Park Modern blends contemporary city living with access to nature and culture.
“Park Modern is perfectly positioned, placing residents at the heart of the city’s vibrant cultural scene,” said Paciocco. “Living here means having world-class arts and culture on your doorstep, from iconic theatres and galleries to festivals and performances, while still enjoying easy access to green spaces and essential amenities.”
The partnership follows other community-driven initiatives by Time & Place, including the sponsorship of Manly Rugby Club near its Manly Two Tides development. With a decade of experience and over $8 billion in projects, Time & Place continues to redefine what modern development means by focusing on connection, culture, and contribution.
