An unforgettable Melbourne whisky dining experience this November
This November, Melbourne’s acclaimed restaurant Cutler & Co. will host An Unhurried Christmas: A Whisky and Dining Experience, an evening dedicated to fine whisky, refined dining and slow enjoyment. For one night only, the Fitzroy icon will transform its private dining room into a cosy whisky haven, welcoming Glengoyne’s Global Brand Ambassador, Gordon Dundas, who is visiting from Scotland to guide guests through a masterclass of Glengoyne’s most celebrated single malts.

The evening begins with the handcrafted Honey Bee cocktail, a refreshing mix of Glengoyne 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch, lemon, honey and ginger ale, offering the perfect start to an evening of storytelling and discovery. Guests will then explore three remarkable whiskies: the Glengoyne 12 Year Old, known for its bright citrus freshness and soft oak finish; the Glengoyne Cask Strength, with notes of sherry sweetness, cocoa and spice; and the exceptional Glengoyne 21 Year Old, matured for more than two decades, revealing layers of rich Christmas cake, dark fruit, polished oak and warm spice.
To elevate the experience, the Cutler & Co. kitchen will serve a specially curated menu designed to complement each whisky’s flavour profile. Expect refined, seasonal pairings such as Foie Gras Parfait Tart with golden raisin and pistachio, Wood-Grilled Beef Rib with pickled shallot and wasabi leaf, and Abrolhos Island Scallop with Montpellier Butter. Every dish has been thoughtfully crafted to mirror Glengoyne’s philosophy of patience, precision and craftsmanship.
