Amyl and the Sniffers to Rock Melbourne in a Free Fed Square Gig

A high-voltage Amyl and the Sniffers Melbourne gig set to electrify Fed Square

Melbourne, get ready to feel the ground shake. This Friday, 14 November, Fed Square will explode with raw punk energy as Amyl and the Sniffers hit the stage for a free, all-ages show that’s set to rattle the cobblestones.

Fresh off AC/DC’s POWER UP world tour and hot from a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Performance, Amy Taylor and her unstoppable crew are bringing their signature chaos back home, loud, sweaty and unapologetically Aussie.

Known for their high-voltage performances at Glastonbury, Coachella, and Reading, Amyl and the Sniffers have built their reputation on sheer intensity. Expect a set packed with punk grit, snarling vocals and breakneck riffs that will have you moving whether you planned to or not.

Joining the chaos are Melbourne’s own Public Figures, led by Evie Vlah and Gigi Argiro, alongside Mary-Lou Hylands and Lakota Vella. Their mix of AC/DC covers and hard-hitting originals pays homage to Melbourne’s live music heart, unfiltered, defiant and loud.

Event organisers are keeping it simple: one band, one night, one city. And it’s free. There’s even official Amyl and the Sniffers and AC/DC tour merch up for grabs, so get there early if you want a piece of the action.

“Expect breakneck riffs, sweat-drenched anthems and that unmistakable Amyl snarl that’s conquered Glastonbury, Coachella and just about every stage in between,” says organisers Fed Square, City of Melbourne and Double J.

A word to the wise: the band’s set will include some explicit language, so brace yourself for an unfiltered rock experience, the way it’s meant to be.
